You passed verification.
Email confirmed. Phone linked. Maybe even ID uploaded.
So why is the Settings tab still grayed out?
No error message.
No suspension notice.
Just a locked menu.
Verification ≠ Full Configuration Access
Most users assume verification unlocks everything.
It doesn’t.
Verification confirms identity.
Settings access depends on account role, region, and platform state.
- Role-based permission layers
- Pending compliance review
- Account migration in progress
- Security cooldown after sensitive changes
Your identity may be confirmed.
Your configuration rights may still be restricted.
Quick Diagnostic Check
- Did you recently change password?
- Did you switch regions or devices?
- Are you logged into a managed (team/family) account?
- Was your account recently upgraded or downgraded?
Settings locks often appear during backend syncing.
Not during account suspension.
Temporary vs Structural Restriction
Temporary:
- Security revalidation (24–48 hours)
- Account data re-indexing
Structural:
- Admin-controlled accounts
- Enterprise or family hierarchy limits
- Region-specific compliance blocks
If streaming, billing, and login all work —
this is almost never a full account issue.
Verification proves who you are.
It doesn’t guarantee control over every setting.
If only the Settings menu is locked,
you’re likely dealing with a permission layer — not a broken account.
