At this point it doesn’t feel like security.
It feels broken.
Here’s what’s actually happening.
When you change sensitive account information — email, phone number, legal name — the platform creates a new identity record behind the scenes. That record has to sync across multiple security layers.
If one layer updates and another still references the old data, the system marks your account as “pending verification” again — even though you already completed it.
You’re not failing.
The database is catching up.
This is why the loop feels endless. Every new login checks identity consistency. If synchronization hasn’t fully settled, the trigger fires again.
Most users make it worse by repeating the process immediately. Each attempt can generate another temporary verification state.
The smartest move?
Verify once.
Stop.
Wait.
Give the backend time to reconcile your updated information.
If it continues beyond 24 hours, contact support and clearly state which detail you changed. That helps them manually align your identity records instead of restarting the loop.
If verification keeps repeating after an account update, the system is resolving conflicting data — not rejecting you.
