When you pay, two separate systems activate:
- The payment processor confirms the charge
- The entitlement server updates your account level
Those two systems do not always update at the same time.
Card approval is immediate.
Account upgrade can take minutes — sometimes hours.
Why the Delay Happens
- Backend queue congestion during peak traffic
- Fraud-screening verification review
- App store purchase confirmation lag
- Cross-platform sync delay (web vs mobile)
Most of these resolve automatically within 5–60 minutes.
If it lasts longer than 24 hours, then it’s not “normal delay.”
Quick Self-Check Before Contacting Support
- Log out and back in
- Force close and reopen the app
- Check subscription status inside account settings
- Confirm the correct login email
If the subscription shows active but features remain locked,
the entitlement server has not synced.
