You clicked the link.
The page said “Email Verified.”
No error.
Then you go back to your account…
Still locked.
If that just happened, this is usually not a failed verification.
It’s a session issue.
What Actually Happened
Email verification updates your account status on the server.
But your current login session was created before you verified.
So your browser or app still thinks you are unverified.
The account is updated.
Your session isn’t.
Why This Happens
- You verified in another tab
- You verified on mobile but are using desktop
- The app didn’t reload account state automatically
This is common on SaaS platforms and subscription services.
The Fast Fix
- Log out completely
- Close the browser or force-close the app
- Log back in
That forces a new session.
The verified status loads correctly.
If you clicked the verification link and you’re still blocked,
your account is probably verified — your session just isn’t refreshed yet.
