You uploaded your ID.
You completed the age check.
The screen said “Verification received.”
And yet — everything is still locked.
This usually means your age verification is not approved yet. Submission and approval are two different stages.
What Actually Happens After You Submit Your ID
Most platforms follow a 3-step process:
Step 1 – Submission received
Your document is uploaded and logged into the system.
Step 2 – Automated screening
Basic checks run instantly. If the system can confirm your age clearly, approval may happen within minutes.
Step 3 – Manual review (if triggered)
If the system flags anything unclear — lighting, mismatch, country difference — your verification enters manual review.
During this review phase, access remains restricted.
How Long Does Approval Usually Take?
Automatic approvals: often within 5–30 minutes.
Manual review: typically 24–72 hours.
Weekends and holidays can extend this window.
If you just submitted your documents today, a delay does not mean rejection.
When You Should Worry
If more than 3 business days pass with no update, then it’s reasonable to check support.
But checking too early does not speed up the review process.
Until approval is confirmed, the system treats your account as “age unverified.”
This is a temporary compliance hold — not a suspension and not a penalty.
