Your dashboard says everything is active.
No suspension notice.
No payment issue.
Yet the Content Management section is completely disabled.
This Is Usually a Scope Restriction — Not an Account Problem
When only the content management area is locked, the system is signaling something specific.
- You may have viewing access, but not publishing rights.
- You may have contributor status, not editor privileges.
- Your role may not include content modification authority.
The account works.
The control layer does not.
Common Triggers for Content Menu Lock
- Role downgrade (admin → editor → viewer)
- Organization ownership transfer
- License scope mismatch
- Workspace-level permission changes
- Security hold after unusual activity
None of these disable login.
They only restrict control access.
Check These Immediately
- Is your role listed as “Owner” or “Admin”?
- Was your team recently restructured?
- Did the primary billing contact change?
- Are you logged into the correct workspace?
In multi-workspace systems, permissions are not universal.
They are container-specific.
When It’s a UI Sync Issue
Sometimes the menu appears locked due to session mismatch.
- Log out and log back in
- Clear browser cache
- Switch to incognito mode
- Open the same account on another device
If it unlocks elsewhere, the issue is session-based — not permission-based.
If content management alone is inaccessible,
your account is not broken.
Your authority level changed.
