You request the code.
You wait.
Still nothing.
No SMS arrives.
Now you can’t log in.
You can’t verify your account.
This is where most people get stuck.
This Is Not Always a System Error
If you did not receive verification code even after retry,
the issue may not be the platform.
This is different from invalid numbers or server errors.
Your mobile carrier may be blocking the message before delivery.
Why SMS Verification Gets Blocked
- Carrier spam filters block automated messages
- Short-code SMS is restricted by default
- International messages are disabled
- Security or filtering apps block unknown senders
You don’t see the message.
It never reaches your device.
This happens more often than people think.
What This Problem Looks Like
- verification code not received
- did not receive verification code
- not receiving text code login
- can’t verify phone number
Retrying won’t fix this.
How to Fix It Immediately
- Turn off SMS spam or message filtering
- Allow short-code messages
- Check blocked numbers list
- Restart your phone
Then request a new verification code.
If You Still Don’t Receive SMS
- Switch network (Wi-Fi ↔ mobile data)
- Try another device with the same SIM
- Use email verification if available
- Contact support if SMS still not received
If the code works on another device,
your carrier settings are the cause.
This isn’t a login bug.
Your SMS is being blocked before delivery.
If this continues,
verification will never complete.
Fix the filter first —
then try again.
