This feels like the system ignored your action. In many cases, it didn’t. Your browser is simply displaying cached account data.
How Browser Cache Interferes With Verification
Modern websites store temporary data locally to load pages faster. This includes session states and account status flags.
If verification updates your status on the server but your browser continues using a cached version of the previous state, the interface may still display “pending” or “unverified.”
This is not a failed verification. It’s a local display mismatch.
It happens more often when:
- You had the account page open in another tab
- You verified from a mobile device but are checking on desktop
- Your session token expired during the process
- Your browser blocked automatic refresh scripts
How to Force the Correct Status to Load
The solution is usually simple:
- Log out completely
- Close all browser tabs related to the platform
- Clear cache for that specific site (or open in private/incognito mode)
- Log back in using the same device used for verification
This forces the browser to request fresh account data directly from the server.
If the status still does not update after clearing cache and starting a new session, the issue may be server-side — not local.
If verification appears incomplete, your browser may be showing outdated account data rather than the current server state.
