You clicked the email link on your laptop.
The website says: Verified.
Then you open the app.
Still locked.
Different device. Same account. Different result.
The App Doesn’t Always Sync Instantly
Web and mobile apps often run on separate session layers.
Verification updates your account on the server — but your app may still be holding old session data.
- Cached login token
- Background sync delay
- App running an older session state
The website refreshes immediately.
The app doesn’t always do that.
Another Common Cause: Wrong Account Logged In
This happens more than people admit.
- Verified with one email on web
- Logged into a different email inside the app
If the app account and web account don’t match exactly, the app will stay locked.
What Actually Fixes It
- Log out of the app completely
- Force close the app
- Reopen and log in using the exact verified email
- Check for app updates
If the app still shows unverified after 30 minutes, it’s likely a sync issue — not a verification failure.
When web says verified but the app doesn’t,
the account isn’t broken.
The session just hasn’t caught up.
